The kids have had their lambs now for about a week and I am thinking this 4-H project was more for me than them! The kids do love their lambs, but I find myself making my way out to pay them a visit several times a day. As the weather starts to warm up and the sheep become tamer, I think we will find it extremely hard to say our good-byes by the time fair time rolls around.Alyson has named her sheep Jessyp, Cody's is echo, and Justin's is Pepsi! Rylee was too young to participate in 4-H this year, but she is anxious for her turn. She still helps the kids with all of their duties happily.
Justin's lamb has taken a liking to chicken feed and suprisingly we find him in the little chicken coupe hording all the feed he can get. It is pretty amazing to watch him squeeze his body through the little chicken door, but he manages quite well. He is actually sick today from it and Justin has quite the mess to clean up after school today!
